SolaDrive offers a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee in which we will refund your initial payment if you are not happy with our services. Below explains the full details of this Refund Policy.

Our Commitment: SolaDrive offers a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee on eligible services. If you are not satisfied with our services within the first 30 days, we will refund your initial payment. Please review the full details of this policy below.

1. 30-Day Money Back Guarantee

If an account with a thirty (30) day money-back guarantee is purchased and canceled within thirty (30) days of signup, you will, upon request, receive a full refund of all hosting fees. Requests for refunds should be made through our Billing Team.

Refunds made under the thirty (30) day money-back guarantee will not include:

  • Domain registration fees
  • Setup fees
  • Software licenses
  • Any fees for additional services purchased in the first thirty (30) days
Important: The money-back guarantee applies only to products and services specified with this offer. Only first-time accounts are eligible for a refund. If you have had an account with us before, canceled, and signed up again, you will not be eligible for a refund. This policy protects our refund guarantee from abuse.

If you cancel your account after the first thirty days have passed, or after your account renews, we will not be able to issue any refunds.

2. Refund Exclusions

The following are NOT eligible for refunds under the 30-Day Money Back Guarantee:
  • Dedicated Servers: No refunds will be honored on Dedicated Servers. The only exception is if we are unable to provide the server ordered due to it being physically out of stock for an extended period of time.
  • Residential IP VPS: No refunds are available for Residential IP VPS services.
  • Domain Registrations: Domain registration fees are non-refundable.
  • Domain Transfers: Domain transfer fees are non-refundable.
  • SSL Certificates: SSL certificate purchases are non-refundable.
  • Software Licenses: Any additional licenses purchased are non-refundable.
  • Service Upgrades: Upgrades to hosting services are non-refundable.
  • TOS/AUP Violations: Any cancellation resulting from a violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy is non-refundable.

SolaDrive reserves the right to determine the definition of first-time accounts and to deny refunds if, at its sole discretion, evidence of abuse of services is found.

3. Service Renewal

All services are automatically renewed on their renewal date after the initial term. The next renewal date is included on every invoice.

  • Hosting Services: All service renewals will be invoiced 7 days before their renewal date unless other arrangements have been made or a cancellation request has been filed.
  • Domain Renewals: Domain renewals are processed at least 30 days before the domain expiration date. Requests to cancel a domain registration must be submitted 30 days before the domain expiration date.

Cancellation requests must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the next package renewal date to avoid being automatically billed for the next renewal period.

Once an invoice is generated and paid for a domain renewal, the renewal cannot be canceled and no refund will be issued.

4. Payment Terms

All charges are shown in US dollars. Payments must be made in US dollars and drawn from an institution we accept. Exchange rates vary and are determined by the issuing financial institution.

Automatic Billing

When choosing a credit card as the primary method of payment, you consent to SolaDrive charging the indicated card on the due date of any invoices on the account. It is your responsibility to keep all credit card and contact information current.

If you do not wish to be billed automatically, you must ensure you de-select the subscription option when checking out.

5. Late Payments

Payment is due on the renewal due date of the invoice.

  • 3 Days Overdue: Accounts with invoices more than 3 days overdue will be marked as overdue and a 10% late fee will be applied to the invoice.
  • 5 Days Overdue: If payment is still not received after 5 days, your service will be suspended unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • 15 Days Overdue: Accounts with invoices over 15 days overdue will be subject to termination. All data in these accounts will be removed from our servers and will be permanently lost.

In the event that you do not pay for services provided, SolaDrive may assign unpaid late fees to a collection agency for retrieval. You agree to reimburse SolaDrive for all expenses incurred to recover sums due, including attorneys’ fees and other legal expenses if legal action is necessary to collect payment on balances due.

Returned or bounced checks will incur a $25.00 fee per instance.

6. Upgrades and Downgrades

Upgrades

Upgrades become effective only after payment for the package upgrade cost or difference is paid.

Downgrades

In the event of a downgrade, a pro-rated credit for unused time will be issued to your account. Refunds will not be issued for downgrades; credits will be applied to future invoices.

7. Cancellation

If there is an issue with your account or support, we would be happy to resolve any questions or concerns you may have. We always go above and beyond to ensure you remain a satisfied and happy customer.

How to Cancel

You may cancel your account at any time by logging into your control panel and submitting a cancellation request under your service page. SolaDrive also reserves the right to cancel any account at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms of Service Agreement.

Dedicated Server Cancellations

Important: Dedicated server customers are required to submit cancellation requests at least 30 days prior to the next monthly billing cycle. No refunds or credits are given on dedicated servers.

8. Billing Errors

If you discover an error on your invoice, please notify us as soon as possible by submitting a ticket to our Billing Department at https://www.soladrive.com/support/.

We will honor invoice error corrections as long as we are notified within 60 days. If more than 60 days have elapsed, we may decline the refund request.

If a refund is in order, it will be applied to your account as a service credit to be used on a future invoice.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Reversals

Chargeback Fee: $50.00

You agree that the actual damages to SolaDrive resulting from chargebacks or payment reversals would be impractical and difficult to determine, and that the above-described fee represents a reasonable and bargained-for estimate of those damages.

SolaDrive may reject the future use of credit cards from an account for which a chargeback has been previously issued. Upon receipt of a chargeback or credit card or PayPal payment reversal, the account related to the payment may be suspended.

PayPal Processing Fees

All PayPal processing fees that are no longer refunded by PayPal will be evenly split between sender and recipient.
