Odoo 20 was released on September 24, 2026, and is now available on all SolaDrive managed Odoo hosting plans.
Odoo 20 raises its server requirements more than any recent release. It needs PostgreSQL 16 or newer, up from PostgreSQL 13 in Odoo 19, and Python 3.12 or newer, up from 3.10. The new AI features also require the pgvector extension in PostgreSQL.
If you self-host, that usually means a database upgrade before Odoo 20 will even start. On our managed plans we handle it. Every Odoo 20 deployment runs on PostgreSQL 16 with pgvector available and PostgreSQL tuned for your workload.

Odoo's AI features run on IAP credits bought from Odoo, so plan for that cost if you intend to use them.
Existing customers can open a ticket and we will plan the upgrade, including a test environment so you can verify your custom modules before anything changes in production.
